I stayed at the hotel for a work trip. The hotel was very centrally located close to many restaurants bars attractions. The restaurant had a decent menu The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the hot water in the shower needed to be constantly adjusted during shower, so by the time you got to the end of the shower you needed to be in the fully hot position to maintain any temperature and you needed to adjust the hot water about 10 times in a 10 minute shower. though it were room service. I selected the larger room which was huge by hotel standards. The room was well fitted out with a an ironing board as well as a wall mounted TV with HDMI port accessible so I could attach my Google TV and watch programming from home.

I had an excellent stay at the Ibis Hotel in Wellington. The hotel’s location was perfect, with easy access to the city center and waterfront. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight, however, was the buffet breakfast we added on. It was absolutely fantastic — a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to suit all tastes, from hot items like scrambled eggs and bacon to a great selection of pastries, fruits, and juices. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend the Ibis Hotel in Wellington, and I’ll definitely be back for both the great accommodations and that amazing breakfast!

Thank you for a fantastic place to stay during our weekend getaway! Staff from reception and restaurant were friendly and engaging. Room was adequate with a BIG comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast had delicious bacon and hash browns topped off with fresh fruit and four tasty juice options - the fresh pineapple and pineapple juice were by far the best! Location of the Ibis is a winner. So close to the train station and easy walking distance to the waterfront, Cuba Street, Courtney Place and for us an enjoyable walk to the Zoo.

We have been staying at Ibis Wellington several times now and we find the location perfect. This time, travelling with a back problem, so opted to book the accessible room. We arrived early, around 11am and the receptionist kindly let us check in early so I have time to rest before a long day of activities. Also, initially was advised parking is full, but she somehow managed to find 1 slot for us, so we can go straight to our room from the basement with our luggages. Very happy with the great service!

Almost nothing we can fault from our stay. Prior to check in staff were super accommodating with our late carparking request (thank you!). On arrival everyone was friendly, beds were comfy, location was absolutely unbeatable (we were in town for a concert at TSB arena and it couldn't be much closer). We had breakfast and coffee the next morning and couldnt fault either. Supermarket within about 100m. For a short stay, what more could you ask for.
